About Bryan Bliss; a hypothetically true story

I hate to say this, but …
I was born a poor black child….
In the early days it was just me and my immediate family, all 23 of us, crammed into a mobile home on just 3 tires, 1 CE-ment block and no bathroom.
But I was resourceful and made a quick million or 2 with a nifty little invention.
Sold my sunglasses to Sugarman and he called em blu-blockers.
Then I shacked up with Bernadette, she was great but fate was a cruel woman.
LAWSUIT
I lost it all overnight and more.

I was a day late and a dollar short.

But every dog has his day.
ummmm wait,… that wasnt me, that was my Netflix, ..
…sorry, let me begin again…

…I knew I was Diamond in the rough and I NEEDED something more. I decided to get my sorry ass to college.
I had a Mind like a steel trap, everything I liked, I mastered, I studied science, psychology, languages and philosophy and made my own pre-med double major at the University of Illinois.
I paid for it all with political scholarships I won from schmoozing , by becoming the research assistant for the Dean of the Med School, by Managing/bartending the largest nightclub in Champaign , Promoting Indie Bands, and by Restoring Historic houses in the superfancy Frank Lloyd Wright district of Oak Park, IL.
no shit.
I felt like I INVENTED multitasking.

The nightclub scene was my passion and I got to meet or mentor some totally amazing artists on their way to huge superstardom. I learned Volumes about human nature and social skills. But it wasn’t a great way for me to make money. I always wanted my shows to be cheap and I was a sucker for any smiling face on the freebie/comp list.

Break even was good enough for a hobby, but not a career . I was too generous for the music biz.

The restoration was my therapy, my relaxation ; my quiet work. I could see and feel what I built or repaired with my own 2 hands. The work would likely outlive me. I was a proud craftsman.

I liked the teaching assistant gig and decided to stay teaching histology ( anatomy through a microscope) while my classmates went on their track to be doctors. It was weird. Being a Teacher was cool but Academia and the Med School Pressure Cooker system kind of burned me out. When one of my classmate buds decided he couldn’t hack it , and Offed himself instead of taking his boards, I had a serious crisis of faith.

I wondered if i was becoming part of a system where the most compassionate and empathetic of us were slowly being turned into cold, stressed robots. It seemed , to me, to be a system that prided itself on grinding people down. We were the best and the brightest, but as I stayed behind to teach, the richness in my life continued to grow, while my peers in med school became more monotonous and less happy.

So I loaded up the truck and I moved to Bev er Lee… Hills that is…
… well, Madison Wisconsin actually.

The only thing that ever put decent cash in my pockets was fixing up old houses. I was pretty good.
Historic Oak Restoration was born. Through the years I grew to be a master craftsman and mentored a fine apprenticeship program that graduated over 60 skilled artisans . I gave kids direction, confidence discipline and well rounded business and negotiating skills.

My marketing was unique, convincing, entertaining and,… well… alot more successful than my project management. I was always selling more than I could keep up with, no matter how many kids I employed.

Sales came easy, especially with the KILLER sales copy my past customers were spreading “buzz style” word of mouth.

Here’s another time when my generosity bit my ass again. By constantly focusing on training newbies, it was slow work, and I never seemed to charge enough to Really make out like a bandit. Some weeks it was money hand over fist, others it was famine. A Shark of a contractor dealt us a fatal blow, the stiff sunk the ship.

I closed the shop, sold the big gear, and decided to work from home and raise some kidlets.

Generosity Marketing was born.

My main gig is Superdad, with off hours Immersed in education and training.
Bly to Bird, Carnegie to Carlton, with a dash of CARLIN, Pagan to Sugarman , bla to bla, you know the roll call.

I came in on the crest of a wave. The stars had aligned..I positioned myself to be one of the vibrant leaders of the Internet Information Mentoring Goldrush. While other marketers came out of the woodwork, they were all so easily seen as just one hit wonders, who came to try and make a quick buck selling smoke and mirrors.

My Generous Mentors Heart and Hands on style made me the Prime Candidate. I was THE One who truly “GOT” the revolutionary idea of “giving the people what they want…FREE” I was Elected the Leader of the Freeline world.
My ventures have made me millions many times over. The internet properties I developed :
DIY123.TV, MarketMentor.tv, MarketMentor.mobi,
clickhere-for-more.info, 4Moms.TV, , BuzzROCK.MOBI, BuzzRock.TV, DigitalMentor.TV, FreeLineMentor.COM, FreeLineMentor.TV, SALESMENTOR.TV
all have brought me into amazing partnerships with the best and the brightest of the information age.

The story of how I not-so politely replied “Piss-off ! ” to Rupert Murdoch’s offer of 22 Billion for my media portfolio still brings a warm chuckle to my heart,…
.. still, I let him beg and buy my ” ANALBABES.TV” for a cool 19 mil.

thanks and take care
