			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I like networking.<br />
I&#8217;m good at it.<br />
Not in  the kind of icky, &#8221; that guy&#8221; who is constantly on the hunt for another business card and another unsuspecting bystander to be subjected to an elevator pitch kind of way, but actually really GOOD at it in a Good karma kind of way.</p>
<p>Heres my winning mindset and strategy and why I&#8217;m the kind of guy you want to meet at a networking event:<br />
1) I&#8217;m generous.  When i go to meet at a networking event,  I am a generous wealth of information and resources. I go with the mindset of a mentor.<br />
I see my role as someone who learns with the intent of learning it so well that I can actually pass on and share the information to empower someone else.<br />
its true that you learn something much more deeply and effectively by recycling it through your mind and putting it into words someone else can actually benefit from.</p>
<p>2) I&#8217;m prepared. It&#8217;s kinds of like a weird obsessive compulsive sort of thing except not that annoying. but I remember alot of stuff.<br />
Faces, jokes, case studies, what kind of solution or introduction a person really needs. It makes me kind of fun to meet and hang with at these places because there&#8217;s always some way I can bring interest and value to the conversation.  My goal is to be inspiring, entertaining, empowering or educational.</p>
<p>3) I can hang with most anybody.  I pay attention to things like rapport, vocabulary, body language, introversion or extroversion and can go with the flow or take the stage so to speak and set the dynamics of a room. Ive Been there, done that and have a helluva lotsa stories to share from the journey. From years running the biggest nightclub in town, the celebs, the egos, the years I spent teaching anatomy in the med school, the time I got my fingers cut almost off in the tablesaw. You wont be bored. war stories, glory stories, debauchery, philosophy and debate.</p>
<p>4) I know how to party. I&#8217;m a professional, there for relationship building and fun with business partners. I like to party, staying up late but find its really rewarding to be the lucid, cool one who is not wasted, just having fun.  I dont drink more than 1 drink every hour and a half or so. Just enough to keep the mood/atmosphere right so people don&#8217;t feel compelled to buy me lots of shots.</p>
<p>5) I know how to win. I like Blackjack and would have a blast winning such a hand.</p>
<p>6) I&#8217;m already going. Like I say, this is Business I made my plans months ago.</p>
<p>7) I&#8217;m there to uplift. My Clients, Myself, My family and My new friends and partners. No sob stories here.</p>
